7 tips to eliminate distractions

  1. Turn off the background noise (TV, Radio, etc.).
  2. Clean up your desk.
  3. Switch off your cell phone.
  4. Take a deep breath and close your eyes before you start again when you feel like you are losing focus.
  5. Write a to do list and cross off what you have accomplished.
  6.  Have a scheduled break time planned beforehand.
  7. Use headphones so others will know not to disturb you- hopefully.
